This 1935 Plymouth Sedan Delivery is one of only a handful known to exist. Only 1,100 were made. The car is maroon and black. It was restored some 30 years ago and has help up very well. There is NO rust and the car is mechanically 100% sound. As with any older restoration, some signs of wear and age do show.
The seats and interior are a little tired as well as the paint but she still shines up and is a crowd pleaser. The rear door is original. The car is a nice driver as is or could be a candidate for complete restoration or resto-rod project. The car is a 6 cylinder with 4 speed OD (out of a '37 Chrysler).
I’ve owned the car for eight years and have only had to ... drive it and enjoy it. No major problems exist. The vacuum wipers do not work and the clutch chatters slightly going into first gear only.
Again, this car can be driven as is and enjoyed. Synthetic oils are in place and all service work is up-to-date. The car has many options such as passenger wiper, fog light, dual side mount tires, bumper guards, heater, etc. This is a very rare vehicle. Yes, this car has over drive. $ 15,000 or make offer.
