This 1959 Chrysler Windsor sedan is "Sondog." Sondog was restored around 5+ years ago by an old timer with that nickname near Crooks, SD. This car was completely restored and is a beautiful, amateur restoration - not a show car.
The car has a little over 4,000 miles since restoration. The motor, transmission, brakes, drive line, body, paint and interior have all been restored.
I would call this a very nice driver and would present well at any Show & Shine. Sondog could also be a great everyday driver. Sondog is mechanically 100% and needs nothing to drive home today.
The paint is a nice amateur paint, has a nice shine and could buff out even more. The stainless could use a little polish and the original bumpers are dull from the sun but rust-free. The upholstery is again new and very nice but not exactly stock or show perfect. All gauges and functions work perfectly.
If you're looking for a good cruise night or "show and go" driver, Sondog is a perfect choice. The colors are Bamboo yellow and Cloud white. The car has the 205 hp, 383 ci, 2 bbl motor with PS and PB. E-mail with questions. $ 8,500 or make offer. |
